At Atzaro, we have gone on a trip; we visited Lima and its best restaurants: Rafael, Maido … we were nicely surprised by its flavors, style, decoration and especially its rich cuisine. Simplicity and taste is a combination that surprises everyone living this gastronomic experience. We were lucky to go hand to hand with the expert co-owner, Cecilia Mendez of the “10” one of Lima´s best restaurants … We tasted, enjoyed and got advised of this Peruvian adventure we were about to start. Our objective: To bring home a little bit of that kitchen, which we loved, so fresh and traditional, also to offer our clients and friends, all the flavor of one of the most important kitchens in the international scene.
Togueter, Lucia Ferrer (Atzaró’s head Chef) and myself, enjoyed preparing the landing of the Peruvian Bar at Atzaró. Nervous but with great happiness, we listed dishes; tried chefs, bought tablecloths, coasters, and other items to decorate this new space that we have created with so much hope.
The rest of our team welcomed us with enthusiasm, and we successfully translate this little piece of Lima that is now for everyone to enjoy.
Happy to see our mission accomplished, we welcome everyone to try our “ceviches”, “tiraditos”, octopus, and “causas”; always matched by a great Pisco.
